Segmentul orientat este important \u00een studiul vectorilor, deoarece direc\u021bia \u0219i sensul segmentului sunt folosite pentru a defini vectorii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vectori<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Un vector este un obiect matematic ce reprezint\u0103 o m\u0103rime cu at\u00e2t o magnitudine (lungime) c\u00e2t \u0219i o direc\u021bie. Vectorii sunt esen\u021biali \u00een multe domenii ale matematicii, fizicii \u0219i ingineriei, fiind folosi\u021bi pentru a modela for\u021be, deplas\u0103ri \u0219i alte concepte care necesit\u0103 descrierea unei direc\u021bii \u0219i a unei magnitudini. Un vector poate fi reprezentat grafic printr-un segment orientat, unde lungimea segmentului reprezint\u0103 magnitudinea vectorului \u0219i direc\u021bia segmentului reprezint\u0103 direc\u021bia vectorului. De exemplu, vectorul ( \\overrightarrow{AB} ) are punctul de \u00eenceput ( A ) \u0219i punctul de sf\u00e2r\u0219it ( B ), iar lungimea sa este distan\u021ba dintre ( A ) \u0219i ( B ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vectori coliniari<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Vectorii coliniari sunt vectori care se afl\u0103 pe aceea\u0219i dreapt\u0103 sau pe drepte paralele. Acest lucru \u00eenseamn\u0103 c\u0103 vectorii au aceea\u0219i direc\u021bie sau direc\u021bii opuse. Dac\u0103 doi vectori sunt coliniari, atunci unul poate fi exprimat ca o scalar\u0103 a celuilalt.
